Thanks to a request here I've recently started playing with the firmware for these units. Details so far:
The main processor is SH4 based - It could possibly be Camelot, but I'm not sure yet. The system uses several commercial libraries/systems including : Fugue StarRec ACCESS
and others. As more detail comes to light, I'll add it here.
